Industry Experience: 32 years 
Murray provides leadership in the adoption of best practices to improve operational efficiency and service delivery across the country. He is responsible for Operations and Customer Service across all of Maxxam’s environmental laboratories, many of which were acquired as part of the company’s evolution. Murray is also focused on developing a corporate research and development group that will build future services to ensure the on-going success of our customers.
Prior to Maxxam, Murray managed an AIHA accredited testing laboratory in support of CIL’s (now ICI Canada’s) industrial hygiene program. Starting his career at CIL, his roles included Research Chemist, Analytical Services Manager and Manager of Safety. He attended Dalhousie University where he earned a B.Sc. in Honours Chemistry and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Oceanography.
