Maxxam has been made aware of a critical vulnerability in OpenSSL (CVE-2014-0160), the security library that is widely used across the internet. We were able to determine that Maxxam servers were not affected by this vulnerability. We are continuing to monitor the situation.

Trevor’s expertise in management, problem solving, and system development is ideally suited to maintain Maxxam’s competitive advantage for unique and valued added services to our customers. In this role, he is responsible for network infrastructure support for all of Maxxam’s sites across Canada, business analysis to all lines of business and he is the corporate owner of Maxxam’s Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Maxxam LIMS is a company critical system and unique in the marketplace as a custom in-house platform for all laboratory services.

Prior to Maxxam, Trevor provided consulting in a range of service areas including productivity, research and third-party contract services after a lengthy career in financial services. During his time with Scotiabank, his responsibilities included increasingly senior roles in a wide range of functions including outsourcing, research and development for corporate and branch networks, and both domestic and international automation initiatives. He has a B.A. and a certificate in Applied Creativity for professional services related to creative problem solving.
