The core of our business is our people and the core of our people is our values. We support and celebrate hard work and dedication with the following incentive programs:

Spot Awards – awards are issued to nominated staff members to recognize day-to-day efforts that demonstrate a desire to go above and beyond, exceed goals and go the extra mile to make a difference. When these efforts contribute to the success of the department and MAXXAM, recognition is given “on the spot”.

Values Awards – Each year a small number of employees will receive this prestigious Maxxam award. Recipients are nominated by their peers and managers based on their demonstrated dedication, team focus, innovation, communication, ethics and overall exemplary performance.

Our employees help us grow and improve by challenging the status quo and committing to continuous improvement. Maxxam supports those individuals that contribute to the overall success of our company through their efforts for innovation with the following awards:

Kaizan Awards - The Kaizen monthly awards are designed to regularly reward staff for increasing efficiencies in our existing processes.

Annual Continuous Improvement Awards – A select number of projects are chosen each year. These projects are chosen based on the value they provide to the organization in terms of hard benefits and national best practices. We award three continuous improvement awards each year which include a cash prize.

“Simply Better” Award -This program will reward staff for any quantifiable hard savings or cost efficiencies which amount to over and above $10,000. Our employees are the best source of inspiration for new and better ways of running the business and we want to support and reward “out of the box” thinking and application of new ideas that benefit the organization.
