Ideal candidate will have:

 

o   Excellent customer facing skills; Ability to communicate effectively in a boardroom setting.

o   B.Sc./technical diploma or equivalent and minimum 5 years experience in an analytical setting with a preference to experiences gained in the Alberta oil sands industry OR post graduate degree (Masters / PhD) with studies focused on furthering Alberta oil sands science

o   Excellent knowledge of current laboratory practices, standard methods, processes and automation found in a petroleum testing laboratory  

o   Skills: customer service, open communication, mentoring, coaching, analytical mindset.  Dynamic, energetic,    motivated, positive outlook.

o   Software: The ideal candidate will be comfortable using MS Office with an emphasis on Excel.  Advanced experience is desired but not essential.
