MAXXAM is a proud sponsor of the ESANS Annual Curling Bonspiel for the 4th year in a row! MAXXAM has become known at this annual event for both entering expert curlers and hosting the “Accuracy Challenge” event which awards a prize to the curler who throws their stone closest to the button. The event roster is comprised of 16 teams of 4 who battle for the coveted “ESANS Cup”. The event attracts a total of approximately 80 representatives from the most active environmental consulting firms in the region. Says Adam Cooney, ESANS Executive Director: ” ESANS is proud to have MAXXAM involved each year, they are an energetic group that bring many exciting enhancements to the event. Everybody has a great time.” The event is held at the Halifax Curling Club, the oldest Canadian curling club established in 1824.
