June 2-5, 2010
The 2010 Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences (CSPS) is coming to Richmond, BC this year. This year’s symposium is focusing on “New Frontiers in Pharmaceutical Sciences”. Athena Juneson, Manager, Business Development, will be chairing the session titled “Technical and Regulatory Issues for the Bioanalytical Laboratory”. The conference will include one full week of hot topics devoted to prodrugs as novel therapies, new advances in drug metabolism and disposition, new directions in clinical applications of delivery systems for cancer treatment and diagnosis, biomarkers, siRNA as in vivo therapeutics, role of lipids in modifying oral and parenteral drug delivery, and clinical development of nanomedicines. The symposium will end with challenges on how to align pharmaceutical development with payor and consumer needs.
Maxxam will also have a booth at the symposium where we will showcase all our pharmaceutical services. From GLP bioanalytical services for both innovator and generic companies to GMP pharmaceutical testing services for drug manufacturers, we look forward to meeting both new and existing customers at the symposium.
