Maxxam President & CEO recognized for outstanding contributions to Canadian industry in the field of chemistry
April 5, 2013 – Toronto, ON. We are proud to announce that Jon Hantho, President & CEO of Maxxam Analytics, received the 2013 Purvis Memorial Award of the Society for Chemical Industry (SCI) at a gala dinner in Toronto last night. The award celebrates Jon’s contributions to advancing Canadian industry in the field of chemistry since he took the leadership role at Maxxam seven years ago.
“We are highly committed to supporting advancement and education in chemistry, as well as providing opportunities for young scientists and working closely with all industry stakeholders to develop new scientific approaches for the benefit of our customers,” said Hantho. “I’m truly honoured that SCI Canada recognized our efforts with this award.”
