Maxxam Analytics raises $26,654 for Canadian Food Banks
Maxxam is pleased to announce that the staff and Company have raised a total of $26,654 for Food Banks across Canada through its annual holiday food drive.
The holiday food donation program has been an annual tradition at Maxxam for the past eight years. From November to December, the company’s 1800 employees make cash and food donations to support the less fortunate in their local communities. Maxxam then matches the donation dollars and kilograms of food collected.
“The Holiday food giving program is an important tradition at Maxxam,” said Jon Hantho, CEO. “It enables us to give something back to the communities in which we do business. I am thrilled by the participation of so many employees across the organization and grateful for their selfless support, especially during challenging economic times.
The Food Donation program is only one element of Maxxam’s community giving and fundraising program. The company supports a variety of causes by matching donations raised by its employees throughout the year. Currently, Maxxam employees across Canada are raising money for the earthquake victims in Haiti and Maxxam will match all donations.
