Mississauga, ON. October 4, 2013 – Throughout the month of September, Maxxam employees across the country were recognized with the company’s most prestigious award, the Maxxam Values Award. Now in their 10th year, Values Awards are given annually to a handful of individuals who are strong ambassadors of Maxxam’s four core values: Integrity, Innovation, Performance and Collaboration.
Maxxam Values Award winners are not only top performers, they also thrive when working in teams and sharing ideas. They are constantly thinking of ways to improve our services and processes, and display the highest standard of ethics and integrity in everything they do. These outstanding individuals care for their fellow employees and go above and beyond in their contributions to the success of our company and most importantly, our customers.
Jon Hantho, Maxxam’s President & CEO, presented the award, which comes with a significant financial reward as well as a week’s paid vacation, to the 2013 winners across the country. “What I love about our Values Awards is that they engage all employees”, explains Hantho. “The process is based on peer nominations, and choosing the winners is probably one of the toughest, yet most rewarding decisions our senior executives who sit on the award committee have to make every year. Seeing how much our employees care about one another, and how appreciative they are of their colleagues’ work and efforts, truly speaks to the fantastic culture we have here at Maxxam.” Hantho added: “It’s our on-going focus on values that contributes significantly to Maxxam’s vision of being the clear choice for analytical services and solutions.”
