March 20, 2013. Mississauga, ON. Following in the footsteps of its inaugural 2011 report, Maxxam presents today its 2012 Corporate Responsibility Report. The purpose of the report is to provide Maxxam’s customers, employees and other stakeholders an accurate and transparent account of the company’s corporate responsibility promise, which is based on leadership and governance, value creation for customers, the advancement of science and industry, respect for the environment, and fairness and opportunities for employees.

“The theme of this year’s report is ‘black or white’”, explains Maxxam’s President & CEO Jon Hantho. “We wanted to emphasize the fundamental promise Maxxam makes to its customers: providing data that is accurate, reliable and defensible, without any bias or grey zone, while leading the industry in innovative analytical solutions and services. The most exciting part for me about this year’s report are the stories about our customers, and the crucial decisions they make every day based on the results and services we provide.“
