Breathing Air Testing and Matrix Gases

Compressed breathing air testing is mandatory in most jurisdictions and must be performed to rigid standards by an accredited facility. Access to a reliable and safe supply of breathing air for workers exposed to hazardous materials or working conditions is an absolute requirement. The Canadian Standards Association recommends that an approved laboratory test air systems used to provide compressed breathing air for purity every 6 months. As an approved laboratory, Maxxam routinely provides testing services for breathing air, medical and industrial gases. Breathing Air Test Cylinders can be ordered online.

Maxxam also has extensive experience in the testing of matrix gases such as the evaluation of fuel or burning of waste fuel from landfill sites. For those customers that require testing for NOX and Carbon Dioxide, quantification of these substances will provide the data customers require in order to trade emissions where allowed under specific regulations.

Maxxam possesses a variety of accreditations and certifications from SCC and NELAP in support of the analysis of breathing air and matrix gases. We are a SCC accredited laboratory for compressed gas standards CSA Z180.1-00, CSA Z275.1-05, CSA Z275.2-04, CSA Z7396.1-06 and CSA Z10083-08.
