Food Microbiology
Maxxam provides detection and identification of a wide range of microbes in any food or water sample and in support of sanitary inspection services. Our food microbiology laboratory specializes in Rapid Methods, Shelf Life testing and FBI food borne illness. We also use USDA/FSIS test methods for export to the US.
Our food microbiology laboratories provide microbiological analysis and consultation in support of your routine quality control and quality assurance programs. This analysis and consultation includes our HACCP and sanitary inspection services, shelf-life studies (various refrigerated temperatures and room temperatures) and food-borne illness investigations.
Maxxam is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (www.scc.ca) for a variety of food and beverage types and approved by the CFIA for many microbiological analyses:
